Lucrecia Lionti
Tucumán, Argentina, 1985.
Visual artist and educator. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán and furthered her studies in the Artists’ Program (2010) and the Film Laboratory (2012) at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where she also taught the Seminar on Artwork Analysis in 2024.
Her work is part of public and private collections, including: Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Spain); Fondation Thalie (Belgium); Le 19 CRAC – Centre Régional d’Art Contemporain de Montbéliard (France); Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires; Museo Rosa Galisteo de Santa Fe; and Museo Castagnino+macro in Rosario.
Her most recent solo exhibition, Fabril la mirada, took place at Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires MALBA (2025). She has participated in numerous group shows, among them: Instituto Tomie Ohtake and Memorial da América Latina, São Paulo (2023); Asia Art Center, Gwangju Biennale, Korea (2020). She was an artist-in-residence at Gasworks, London (2025), thanks to the Érica Roberts + URRA grant, and previously at EAC Montevideo; El Ranchito Matadero, Madrid; and the Centro Cultural de la Memoria Haroldo Conti, Buenos Aires.
She received the 8M Award from the Argentine Ministry of Culture (2022), the Buenos Aires Art Week Award (2021), and the Colección Oxenford Travel Grant, Paris (2014). Her work has been published in Vitamin Txt: Words in Contemporary Art (Phaidon, 2024).
She lives and works in Buenos Aires.
