Statement
Project ¨Tiempos de Arena” is a fabric between experiences and imaginary stories that proposes a reflection on our complex bond with a nature that is as fierce as it is vulnerable. This project arises from an environmental research trip to Mauritania carried out by the group, at the beginning of 2020.
There they experienced the intensity of the desert, the impetus of the nomads and the resistance of nature. Submerged in its infinite sands, they soon understood that in the desert time passes differently, clocks hardly exist and the wind whispers distant stories.
Returning, they reimagined memories of a virgin desert, summoned their ghostly presences, watched man and nature invade each other, and finally invented their own utopias.

Aplicando estrategias digitales a tomas directas y sometiendo las tomas a diferentes procesos, logran tensar los límites de lo documental dejando en suspensión la mirada que no logra discernir qué elemento pertenece a cada mundo (el existente y el simulado).
