Located in the commercial center of the city of Asunción, Casa Mayor opened its doors in 2000 with the aim of being a space for the exhibition and enjoyment of works of art.
The Great Carlos Colombino, architect and visual artist, was in charge of the design of this particular building.
Since its inception, works by great historical and established artists have been put into dialogue in its spaces, together with emerging artists with innovative and disruptive proposals.
The house also has cabinets dedicated to Feliciano Centurión and Ignacio Núñez Soler, with heritage pieces that can be visited by the public.
The building complex is complemented by a large auditorium and a terrace suitable for meetings, events and talks, as well as plays and concerts.
