Bio
Oz Montanía was born in Paraguay in 1985 and since he was a child he found himself surrounded by books that little by little immersed him in the world of illustration. At the age of 12 he began to “scratch walls”, however it was at 17 that he began to perfect his style and thus became an illustrator, graphic designer and urban artist. For eight years, Oz has traveled the world and has poured his art on walls in cities such as Toronto, Santiago de Chile, Montevideo, Johannesburg, Cartagena, Sao Paulo, Zurich and Lima, among others.
Statement
Oz Montania his works as an illustrator and urban artist. With artistic influences ranging from Paraguayan popular culture, music, Pop Art, low brow, to indigenous mythologies. In addition to his personal work, he commented on his management of innovative projects that combine art, culture, muralism, and community.
