Félix Toranzos

Born in Asunción, Paraguay in 1962. Visual artist, architect, graphic designer, set designer. He studied Plastic Arts at the School of Fine Arts and at the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of Asunción respectively. He taught drawing and painting classes at the Visual Arts Center Workshops. His work is part of the collection of the Paraguayan Museum of Contemporary Art of the Center for Visual Arts/Museo del Barro, Ile de France.
He is the Director of the Paraguayan Museum of Contemporary Art of the Center for Visual Arts/Museo del Barro. Director and Visual Arts Advisor of the Ida Talavera Foundation. Active member of the Association for the Visual Arts in Paraguay "Gente de Arte". He was Director of National Museums of the National Secretary of Culture. Acting Director of the Museum of the House of Independence. He currently directs the Cultural Center, Carlos Colombino Lailla, Manzana de la Rivera of the Municipality of Asunción since 2022.
