Statement
A continuous path
When I was a little girl, my father always told me that his mother used to take him and his
brothers to the port of Buenos Aires to breathe the air that came from the old world. This image of my grandmother with her small children beside her was always very powerful to me because of what it meant. Over the years, I have understood what it means for any person who must leave their homeland and go in search of new worlds, new horizons. Since I have Italian and French descendants, today I can reproduce the story that they created while traveling back and forth across the ocean.
Nowadays I can dream of following the path of my ancestors with my works, and thanks to the worldwide connectivity, my artwork has also been allowed to follow its own path. That is how I got sent in Italy, Uruguay, the United States, Canada, Peru, Chile and Japan.
