Gerardo Feldstein

After leaving the Electronic Engineering degree at the UBA, he spends several years swimming in the darkness of existence, until he resumes painting, an activity practiced in his childhood. Parallel to his "return to painting" he studied theater with the teacher Carlos Gandolfo, he attends the instructor course of a particular system of "psychophysical" gymnastics created by Susana Milderman and initiates in the practice of Zen. From these experiences -between others- will take various elements related to sensory-perceptual development, which he will include in the execution of his work and in his teaching work.
The existential problem of man, his relationship with himself, with others and with his doing, become the thematic axis of his work, manifesting itself through constant combinations of absences and presences. In the mid-90s he incorporates volume, initially applied to the plane, later becoming independent from it to work with sculptures, objects and installations.
